Who We Are:

We were founded in 2004 to be the Honors Ambassadors of the Honors College at the University of Houston. As Honors Ambassadors, we act as the face of the Honors College. Honors Ambassadors are undergraduate students from a variety of  colleges and majors — from Honors Biomedical Sciences majors to liberal studies majors — we welcome everyone to join the Honors Ambassador family. Our mission is to assist prospective & incoming students, spread greater awareness and possibility of an Honors education, and to foster the Honors College community!

What We Do:

As Ambassadors of the Honors College, we work to promote the Honors College and educate prospective students on the opportunities the College provides. We help to organize and run events such as:​ college fairs, open houses, tours, Cougar Fridays, Cougar Preview, and Scholars Invitational. As an organization, we help also fellow Ambassadors take advantage of all the opportunities the Honors College offers. We host social events that foster community, friendship, and camaraderie. Ambassadors hone their intrapersonal and presentation skills, and ​their 'Honors story'!
